Golf ‘The Greene’
You are invited to come and play on our beautiful 9 hole golf course!
In July 2002, GreeneAcre Golf Club opened to the golfing public. Developed on 131 acres situated along the Gananoque River and in the heart of the 1000 Islands, Gananoque, Ontario, the 9 hole regulation length golf course and practice facility was designed by Brad Johnson, Land Architect. Our professional golf course developer and team sculpted the unused farm land and abandoned sand quarry and created “The Greene” amongst the natural beauty, the tranquility, serenity and views along the Gananoque River of the family owned farm and homestead of Chris and Dan Greene.
Their mission: provide a course offering best golf value for best green fee.
Today our course is known as “golfer’s best kept secret”. Our meticulously manicured course offers challenge to all levels of golf and boasts a class of its own because of the unique 18 hole tee deck design, bent grass greens and course layout. Practice facilities include a driving range as well as practice greens for chipping and putting. Our double row irrigation system enables our maintenance team to keep conditions optimal. We offer a large power cart fleet and pull cart rentals. Our licensed snack bar and course allows one to enjoy a quick lunch and a cold one to go with it. Family groups, corporate groups, social gatherings and tournaments are welcomed and easily accomodated.
Optimally located just one minute north of Hwy 401 at Exit 645, your golf day at “TheGreene” can also include enjoying the 1000 Island Playhouse Theatre, local fine and casual dining, staying at local resorts and area campgrounds.
Play a quick 9, make it an outing for 18 holes or a practice for the next game; “GolftheGreene” and have it all and all at great value!
